‘A Bunch of Kooks’: Michael Flynn Described QAnon as a ‘Disinformation Campaign’ in Recorded Call
In a recording of a phone call purportedly between Trump lawyer Lin Wood and Flynn released late Saturday night, Trump’s disgraced former national security advisor said of QAnon, “I think it’s a disinformation campaign that the CIA created. That’s what I believe. Now, I don’t know that for a fact, but that’s what I think it is. I think it’s a disinformation campaign.”

In addition to the recording, Wood posted screenshots of texts that appear to be from Flynn where he says he has “always believe (sic)” that QAnon was a “disinformation campaign to make people look like a bunch of kooks.”
Wood, who has been feuding recently with fellow Trump allies, released the recording of the nearly 24-minute call with Flynn on his Telegram channel. Wood has been in a downward spiral ever since Kyle Rittenhouse, the far-right darling recently acquitted of homicide for killing people at a racial justice protest, said that Wood had “taken advantage” of him and left him in jail

Screenshots of people quitting their jobs over text have taken over the internet in recent weeks, with pieces in the New York Times, Vice, and elsewhere lauding the subreddit’s ethos of rejecting drudgery. All this sudden attention has come as a surprise to the moderators, who insist the community is not just about hating your boss but also working toward a future without bosses, period.
Since the start of the pandemic, the r/antiwork community on Reddit has grown from about 100,000 subscribers to more than 1 million, largely based on the popularity of these screenshots. There’s the worker quitting telling a boss “go fuck yourself” after being pressured to pick up a shift while mourning a parent’s death. Another person gets berated for sitting down at work, despite having a doctor’s note, and decides to quit instead. Another texts his resignation rather than miss Thanksgiving with his family.

Exotic, whose real name is Joseph Maldonato Passage, is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for hiring a hitman to kill his longtime nemesis Carole Baskin. Now, in a handwritten letter to The New York Post, he excoriates Trump for leaving him to rot in prison.
“President Trump was a fool not to pardon me,” Exotic writes.
“Before the election, millions of people were hoping for it as they know I’m innocent, most of this is in [Tiger King 2] and it will be the same for President Biden, the world will know the truth [when the new season is released] and him and VP Harris ran on justice and prison reform.”
The letter continues, “It would be in the interest of American Justice for President Biden to pardon me before the holidays and charge those with perjury and other suitable charges, or the injustice is really going to cost votes in 2022 as the people wonder if this could happen to them under his watch.”

Dunikoski then asked Travis McMichael how he learned about crime in the neighborhood, to which he replied that he learned from Facebook and his mother.
The testimony highlights a crucial privilege of whiteness (and maleness): always being given the benefit of the doubt. For months before they were even indicted, the defendants got to spread their version of the story. And the media published their claims over and over without questioning, fact-checking, or offering a counter narrative.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett is running for Dallas congressional seat, with Eddie Bernice Johnson's backing

Crockett is running for the seat vacated by Johnson, who announced Saturday that she would not seek reelection in the 30th Congressional District after serving nearly three decades in Congress. The seat is solidly Democratic.
State Rep. Jasmine Crockett announced Wednesday she is running to succeed U.S. Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson, a fellow Dallas Democrat who announced her retirement four days ago.
Crockett made the announcement during a news conference at Dallas. As it began, Johnson issued a statement endorsing Crockett.
"A vibrant congressional district like TX-30 needs a representative in Washington with high energy, a passion to fight for us, shrewd intelligence, leadership, and an incessant drive. Republicans Rigged Congressional Maps To Take Lucy McBath's Seat So She's Running In A New District
Switching districts sets McBath up to primary freshman legislator Carolyn Bordeaux who currently represents the 7th Congressional District.

McBath narrowly beat the incumbent, former Rep. Karen Handel, with less than 4,000 votes in 2018. Handel came back to challenge McBath in 2020 and was easily defeated.
Citing an analysis from FiveThirtyEight, Axios reported the newly constituted 6th Congressional District would lean heavily Republican and reach into a “deeply conservative” portion of North Georgia.
McBath was the first Democrat elected to the 6th Congressional District in decades, in a seat once occupied by Newt Gingrich. According to Ballotpedia, the district shifted from a Republican stronghold in 2012 to more Democrat-friendly in 2020.
