Today's "capitalism" is controlled by dark money, and billionaire funded campaigns, politicians, initiatives, judges, and lobbyists.
Our crony capitalist lobbyist and billionaire funded system is simply broken.
One in six kids go hungry here. Millions live in poverty with little incentive, or hope of getting ahead. Corporations push drugs and millions are addicted with opioids easier to get than candy with no way to get treatment because it costs too much. Billionaires corrupt our system, ask for, and demand favors and never get prosecuted because they write the checks. Don't tell me the Koch Brothers don't demand favorable legislation. See ALEC. https://www.alec.org/ Then there is the trillions we spend on "defense" and when contractors get caught screwing us they never get prosecuted.
The planet is collapsing, and we are becoming HOTHOUSE EARTH where in a few years we will by dying by the billions from STARVATION because we are too stuck in our ways of consuming everything in sight with no thought of the future. The media who gets paid for commercials ignore the words "climate change" even when hurricanes are killing people right and left.

Our country is broken. A lot of fools thought Trump was the answer. They are too proud to admit their mistake so we sink further down the rat hole towards fascism while they believe every lie Trump tells.
I'll take democratic socialism with real justice over our corrupt system where billionaires are untouchable any day of the week.
