Judge says Trump knew his voter fraud numbers were false, orders ex-lawyer to give more emails to...

...Jan. 6 committee

A federal judge on Wednesday ordered lawyer John Eastman, a key figure in former President Donald Trump's challenges to the 2020 election results, to turn over 33 new documents to the House committee investigating Jan. 6, including a number the judge found are exempt from attorney-client privilege because they relate to a crime or attempted crime.

In his order, Judge David Carter found Eastman should hand over eight documents under the "crime-fraud exception" to attorney-client and attorney work privileges.

According to the judge, Eastman said in one of the email exchanges that Trump was aware that the number of voter fraud cases his team was alleging in a federal lawsuit challenging the election results in Georgia was "inaccurate." But, the judge said, Trump signed off on the suit, "swearing under oath" that the numbers were correct, anyway.

Holy shit...this may be the end game. I certainly hope so!!!!! So nice this came in before the Mid-terms!

Jeopardy

Can anyone tell me why all the reruns. I DVR Jeopardy and DishTV shows the programs as “new.” However clearly they are not.

Supposedly, the overruling of Roe v. Wade will not curtail abortions for those with money and means.

However, that does NOT mean that they cannot be subject to the red state penalties for having one. In today's world, there are so many ways to keep watch on the citizenry. Maybe when the 1% and their daughters and nieces are prosecuted, things may not be so wonderful in the pro-life world.

Anyone else having Yahoo email problems, Code 205.2 [LU003]?

Anyone with a good solution? ATT is about as helpful as nothing. They to wait 24 hours and try logging in again. As some know, I am hearing impaired and not having email is a disaster in my life. Along with texting, it is my only method of communication with people I must have contact with.

All help will be greatly appreciated!

When I was in school in the 1950s and 1960s, we had play practice, etc.

Now -- Active Shooter Practice...and it sure as fuck did not seem to work in TX.

When this news bulletin hit today about the latest mass shooting, I was sitting and chatting with a friend who is 77 years old and he and I could not believe what today's students face.

WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?????

In my opinion: The NRA funded the GOP and they did their own "great lie" that the government is going to take your guns away...step, by little step by step, give 'em an inch and the govt will take a mile and soon, you will not be allowed to have any guns.

Peace to those who lost their lives and to their families and loved ones.

So what will happened when Loving v. Virginia (1967, 388 U.S. 1) comes before SCOTUS?

Like Roe, Loving (right of persons of different races to marry) also was based on privacy rights in the US Const -- "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

While marriages in the past of persons of different races after Loving can not be undone retroactively (I am assuming, but who knows), if privacy is NOT a Const right...how is SCOTUS going to deal with the privacy rights underpinning Loving as to future marriages of people not of the same race?

What a motherf'ing mess!

Next: Griswold v. Connecticut

1965: Privacy = a Constitutional right. Issue of the case was the right of married couples to obtain birth control. Connecticut prohibited this. SCOTUS said the use of birth control was a privacy right.

IMO, Griswold is next to fall.

😭 😭 😭 😭

Tears for my sisters who will be sacrificed by the right wing justices of the United States Supreme Court.

I'm an old white woman...

...and tears ran down my face when KBJ was confirmed.

I am so proud to be an American today. Long time coming, but finally...a black female justice on the SCOTUS. I am betting that RBG is smiling!

Karens galore!!!!

So many on the Senate Judiciary committee with Rs after their names.

Talk about abuse!
