I think Rachel just inaccurately reported the 17 states as "joining" the Texas AG lawsuit.

I believe "joining" has a legal connotation meaning they are actually part of the lawsuit. But they simply filed a brief that says they acknowledge the suit.

Any more expert analysis?

Michigan Board of Canvassers meeting livestream starting shortly:

Great article for understanding what we're dealing with re Q

I'm guessing the F-ing Christmas decorations this year

will be solid blue.

We’ve had all white, all red, so maybe all blue will complete the theme...

Has she been aiming for that all along?

All the talk about Trump not being at the inauguration will be moot,

if Pence is President by then (#46), and he is then there for the swearing in of Biden (#47).

Major recognition needs to be given to the Navajo Nation for

Biden's win in AZ.

1. of the 85,000 registered voters on Navajo 76,000 voted. 89% turn out

2. Of those 76,000 voters 74,000 voted for Biden & 2,000 for Trump

If you get no other information about the state of the election results

and the transition, do watch the first 20 minutes of The Last Word tonight. Lawrence O. really puts things into proper perspective and quells all the anxieties about whatever conspiracies there are.

It will be re-run later this evening or you can catch it later (tomorrow?) on MSNBC.com. Not sure, but maybe there will be youtubes of it, also.

Worth every minute....

Remember how all Trump wanted the new President of Ukraine to do was *announce* investigations?

Now put the many current lawsuits filed and dropped in various states in that context....

His MO is to insinuate and let everyone's imaginations run wild with it.

Trump the one in five? Perhaps this is what we're dealing with now:

One in five COVID-19 patients develop mental illness within 90 days: study - Reuters

Many COVID-19 survivors are likely to be at greater risk of developing mental illness, psychiatrists said on Monday, after a large study found 20% of those infected with the coronavirus are diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder within 90 days.

Listened to PE Biden's address,

I felt so reassured....

He has a very calming effect, because he knows the ins and outs of government, and he knows the law is on his side, and he exudes confidence, not bluster.... He showed empathy, even for Trump and his supporters - "I know what they're feeling. I know what it's like to lose; I get that." He chuckled about Pompeo and Pompeo's statement about a "peaceful transition to a second Trump administration."

Unflappable in the face of Trump's chaos.

Take heart, everyone....
