Am I being a pain?

I've applied for SSDI and was turned down the first time. I have a lawyer. His firm will get 25% of any back payment I receive. I need a letter for my long-term disability insurance (LTD), which I'll have to pay back, from my lawyer saying I was turned down, an appeal was filed, and when it was filed.

It's time-sensitive. My LTD company called me Monday to tell me I needed a letter with this information. I had a call into my lawyer's office yesterday for this letter. Didn't get a call back. I'm getting nervous now. I didn't get a call back, but, like I said, I need this letter for LTD soon.

So, I called the attorney's office this morning to speak to the letter writer. She sounded annoyed. I have anxiety and self-esteem problems.

Was I wrong to call again? Squeaky wheel and all that. My COBRA payment is $740 a month.

It's a long, exhausting process.

So tired... Ltd. Insurance payback

I've been getting 2100 a month from the long-term disability company. I'll have to pay back the money. If I get 1500 a month, thats how much I'll be paying back. I've been paid 6 months. The payback will come out of any backpayments from ssdi. If I owe more than the back pay, there's a repayment plan.

I worked so hard not to be in debt. I'm so tired of it all. I just feel lost at this point. I might be 50k in debt. It's all so confusing

Got an email from long term disability insurance co

My nerves freak me out whenever they contact me. I had to take an anti-anxiety med. The email had a password I had to reset, making it an even longer time before I could read it. I'm always worried they're cutting me off, thus I won't have money for my COBRA.

They want more information from my doctors, plus all my social security information. I have no idea how to get that from them, to the ins company. I called my lawyer and forwarded the email to them.

The whole thing is so stressful. If I don't do it by a certain date, I'll get cut off. I need a printer cartridge to print these letters out. I need hard copies due to cognitive issues, so I can refer back.

Disability is so hard.
