The Rawstory article titled 'He thinks he's running against Obama': The View questions Trump's mental fitness discusses observations made by the show's co-hosts on Tuesday, specifically a comment made by Joy Behar in which she said
"He keeps saying he's running against [former President Barack] Obama. He keeps saying that as if Joe Biden is in cognitive decline, not Trump."
Well, I think what Ms Behar (and perhaps a few others) don't get is that YES, Trump IS running against Barack Obama.
Granted, Trump IS a psychopath, a sick minded, mean spirited con-man and a cancer upon our society who's at least as evil as DeNiro says he is... a rabble rousing agent of chaos, beholden to no one or nothing other than HIMSELF.
But Trump is also crazy like a fox. And his repeated mentioning of Obama, nothing short of a DELIBERATE dog-whistle, intended to appeal to the same bigoted and malignant mentalities as did his previous reference to immigrants "poisoning U.S. blood."
Trump is a bigot, a hater, and a divider. And he knows NOTHING riles his rabid MAGA cult following like reminding them of the Black man who was in the white house.
Nothing.
