36. Even though Bolton is a war mongering asshole, in his favor, he's not a complete moron

He must already know that the best way to say on Trump's good side is to kiss his ass like it's nobody's business.

Now whether or not Bolton is that conniving, we'll just have to see. But at some point he's going to slip up and try to browbeat Trump... And that's when he'll be toast.
