Scott Walker seeks sober house as he prepares another run for Congress in Delaware
"I need help with my addiction, right now" said Walker "I don't want to go through another night, I've have too much at stake. The people of Delaware would expect me to be in tip-top shape." Walker said he was seeking a sober living house in Georgetown. "It doesn't even have to be a bed. It can be on the floor, the couch, anything. I just need to be around people that I feel safe around, because that's what I need right now. I live with my wife, but I've not been able to conquer my alcoholism."
Walker said he couldn't afford rent for the sober living house, but several times said he is actively working on fundraising a campaign for Congress.
But, hey, why let being drunk get in the way of your campaign. He didn't find a sober house, but he DID win the primary:

Scott Walker wins Republican primary for Congress in Delaware
While many considered his campaign unorthodox, Scott Walker was able to pull out enough votes Thursday night to secure a win in Delaware's Republican primary for Congress.
As voter results rolled in from the Delaware Department of Elections, Walker saw a lead early on that eventually led to a victory over his opponent Lee Murphy, who previously appeared on the former Netflix series House of Cards, by a vote of 19,572 to 17,359.
"I'm very honored and humbled by support I have received, especially in Sussex County, and this just goes to show [you] what the power of prayer will do," Walker said. "I've got to get some rest tonight because early tomorrow morning I've gotta go to the east side of Wilmington and start hanging signs."
His signs, by the way, are hilarious.
He makes them himself out of scrap wood, paints his name and random slogans on them like "cut taxes" or "legal weed", and nails them to whatever is available (and often unwelcome, as he keeps accumulating fines).
No convertible for the parade? No problem......
