The GOP went for dimwits in the two top races on the general ballot, which is certain to depress turnout in the downballot races.

Woodsprite, for example, is fairly likely to get a new state representative, notwithstanding his years of incumbency (if I have the district line correct in my head - I'm just outside of his district). There's a narrow D majority in the DE state legislature which is likely to widen.

Some GOP incumbents are just dead bodies walking at this point.
