With all due respect to Mr. Carville, I thank him for his service and commitment to the party. It's time he steps aside and let the new generation take over-which means that I respectfully ask that he, along with any person in the party who's attempting to influence future strategy; step aside.
Beto demonstrated an uncanny ability to drive up numbers in RURAL areas, which is what we're going to need in the future. His "loss" which seeing how corrupt and morally bankrupt the GOP is; well let's say that I'm not sure Beto lost Texas, especially after looking at what's happening in Georgia and Florida.
Beto's "loss" was anything but, and Republicans know it.
As for someone running for POTUS after losing a Senate election, it's been done before.
1858 Abraham Lincoln lost a US Senate Election in Illinois, TWO YEARS LATER he became the 16th President of the United States!
