Oh brother! GMAFB! Nobody is attacking him.
It is entirely fair, however to call him out on his boorish insults.
tap into that energy because
His "energy" is not a free pass for him to act like a complete asshole. Does he want to stamp his feet and have tantrums? Or, in being the public-face of the tragedy (a role that he sought out) does he want to be taken seriously?
but that his comments are not a personal hatred of her.
It does not matter if he "hates" her or not. He was rude and acted like a complete asshole. His lack of hatred toward her is not an excuse.
She hasn't told Hogg to sit down and shut up like Whoopi did AOC.
Still smarting over that, eh?
they, not her, are the future of the Democratic Party.
Rudeness is the future of the party? Heaven help us.
she knows she needs people like Hogg and AOC to get there while God grants her the time.
You keep mentioning AOC... this has nothing to do with her. Why distract and change the subject? It's unnecessary and it serves no good purpose.
If he wants to be some sort of leader, then he needs to show respect and courtesy to everyone... even those he disagrees with... but ESPECIALLY to those who are ACTUALLY on his side.
It serves no good purpose to make excuses for immature punk-like behavior from someone who ought to know better... from someone who's taken on a public-role and who (presumably) wants to be taken seriously. Or does he hope to make a career with a reputation of insulting allies and acting like a spoiled brat?
He owes her (and every other "old" person who's on his side) an apology. But, clearly he's not mature enough to admit making a mistake. Nor is he even mature enough to fake it and just say the words "I'm sorry" (while holding in his heart that he doesn't really mean it.)
All I'm saying is that it was a disappointment then, and his denial and doubling-down continues to be a disappointment. I can't take him seriously, and I know for a fact that I'm not the only one. It would cost him nothing to be polite and to offer a gracious apology. Instead he choose to be prideful and to embrace vanity. What a shame. What a waste.

That such vitriol is being thrown at a school shooting survivor is impressive.

You've spent this entire thread ranting and raging about it. Not sure if it's silly or sad. nt

I thought it was long-understood that Pelosi doesn't need a White Knight to defend her honor.
