(8,922 posts)Your frustration with the lies and the dishonest media perpetuating his lies is a frustration I'm sure everyone on this board shares. I wish I knew the answer to it, I don't, but let's not blame our democrats.
I think most of our candidates are smart enough to address the lies and mis-information in their campaigns.
The problem as I see it is that Trump gets plenty of "free" time to lie on television but we have to "pay" for a national campaign to address every lie the media allows him to spin out without being challenged. Its like everything else, getting out our message costs money, and our resources are finite. We have to prioritize how and where those resources will be used. I think be patient and as we get closer to voting that most of the lies will be pushed back on in ad campaigns deployed in the right timing and places.
My recommendation is provide campaign donations to the key races we need to win. With more funds we can double down on correcting more of the lies. Tell your candidates your concerns as you send them your campaign donations and ask them to spread your message.
