If I had to put money on it I'd bet the other way: It's not very likely to happen.
But it's something I still like to hope for. My gosh, just the relief of him not having access to twitter in his post-presidency life... can you imagine?
A lot of things never happened before, until the first time they do. What a wonderful bit of unprecedented American history that would be.
Oh, and remember, we DID imprison the ex-president of the Confederacy. If Trump keeps talking up civil war if he gets impeached... well, he won't get his war. But he will improve our chances of locking him up. There's a whole lot of drama to play out in the next year or so; a lot of things can happen...

I think it is highly likely Trump will be indicted, prosecuted, and jailed once he is out of office.

No. Any jury will have at least one white winger to hang it, at least for political crimes.
