(4,103 posts)You can thank the protesters, looters and riots for all the down tickets losses ... I saw people getting drawn to Republicans who I never thought would vote for Trump by.
And every time I mentioned it here before the election someone flagged by post and it was deleted ... ignoring the truth didn't change it.
The douchebag Republicans presented a better narrative, the average person saw Republicans backing the police and Democrats backing the criminals ... it's really that simple.
I saw a large cross section of blue collar workers become angry by people who were not working but had time to spend weeks protesting while others were looting and rioting, and I saw it first hand not in just one factory but every single one that I visit.
This election should have been a complete blowout, but that was the factor that kept Republicans relevant, and still is.
And it doesn't matter if they are wrong, it is what happened, it could have been avoid and should have been avoid.
