I think this is Billy's way of trying to distance himself from the sour fart lingering in the Oval Office. We saw what you did, Bill. There's no rehab, no coming back, from this one. Get your sinecure at some right wing welfare outlet, and spend the rest of your days in bitter resentment that the apex of your career was convincing lame duck George H.W. Bush that his dead-of-night pardons of Caspar Weinberger and five others was a worthwhile idea.
