Put it to work:

‘ hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State,’

Article VI, Clause 2 of the Constitution makes federal law, and the Constitution, the supreme Law of the Land, and the disqualification is constitutional, not legislative, and cannot be ignored.

Lotsa state political officeholders aided and abetted the Big Lie Insurrectionists, and under the law of parties (conspiracy), they are just as criminally responsible as the twits who stormed the Capitol.
