I made the mistake of going to the Kroger near me this week because I only needed a few items, not a full shopping, and figured it would be easier than driving 20 minutes to my regular Kroger. Big mistake! I counted fifteen unmasked and improperly masked employees and a half dozen unmasked customers. When I realized everyone ahead of me in the checkout line was unmasked, I left my cart and drove the 20 minutes to my regular store where I only saw two unmasked customers and zero unmasked employees. Even the guys who stock produce and are never masked were properly masked.

I can’t figure it out. The first store is in a more progressive neighborhood. Maybe just better management. I made sure to track the manager of the second store down and thank him for a comfortable shopping experience.
