In the South that my Auntie paid taxes on her whole life.

It’s like 300$/year and lots of acres on top of a hill.

Everyone who lives around that spot or at least every family is related to us from my great grandmother‘s side. They’re also extremely far right. They’ve been lovely when we’ve met a few who’ve come out to Hawaii; you can tell they think we’re super strange and they’re being kind. We’re just very different.

Before all of this I had thought to make a place there for our family to go in the event of climate catastrophe or other natural disaster because all of us live here in the islands. Now I really don’t know. Covid burned through there like a wildfire and they still think it’s a cold. It’s just a mystery .

Well not really totally a mystery- it’s hard to imagine how they fell for it, but I know how they were sold it, and now I know by whom.
