May 2022

I think too many here default to 2016 and forget it's no longer applicable to that specific rule. It's time we address the fact and discuss the ramifications of 2016 on our democracy and our loss of freedoms now and the ones we're about to lose in the near future. This isn't the end of this fallout, for as bad as this is, and it's horrible, it's still just the beginning.

Politics are a long game of strategy, not a popularity contest, not a cult of personality, and not about what you think you deserve right this moment. Those on the left who fell for the latter and ignored the former in 2016 helped facilitate where we are today. I've been angry at them since Trump won and now I'm to the point of being livid. Everything we said would happen has happened, and even faster than I, personally, anticipated.
