atm there are 212 Dems, 222 Rethugs, and one vacancy (left by the death of Rep. Donald McEachin (D-Va.) shortly after his reelection)

434 total voting

we would need 11 Rethugs to not vote at all, ie abstain (not 10 or less than 10)

that means 423 total voting

so 212 would win it for Jeffries

of course if 6 Rethugs flipped straight to Jeffries (like you said) that would work too, but that will never happen

there also could be a combination of Rethugs not voting and 1 to 5 Rethugs flipping straight to Jeffries (that number flipping is dependant on how many Rethugs do not vote)
