I’m waiting on flu vax til there’s an increase in cases in my region, per the advice of Dr. Michael Osterholm (CIDRAP, U. Minn.). I’ll get the new COVID booster as soon as it’s available.
I did have gastro issues 36 hours after getting the RSV shot (diarrhea, vomiting, both briefly and then gone). It’s possible that it was related to the vaccine, but it really felt more like food poisoning. And I’ve gotten lots of vaccinations over the last several years — shingles, flu multiple shots, all the COVID shots (Moderna), and anything else I can get into my arm (yes, I admit it, I’m a vax junkie!! 
).
Typically my reaction to all the recent vaccines has been fatigue, arm soreness, and sometimes a mild fever. The RSV shot gave me very mild fatigue, no arm soreness, and just a hint of fever. So maybe it’s just a different animal altogether, at least for my metabolism. Hard to know until I get another one next year.
