To quote the NPR report: "There is no indication that the judges intentionally withheld information in order to deceive the public."
And does it matter to you that while both Cannon and Judge Leslie Gardner -- Abrams sister -- failed to timely submit the 30-day report after attending a privately funded seminar, NPR found that Cannon timely and fully submitted the annual financial disclosure report regarding the seminars she attended while Judge Gardner did not.
It's easy to overreact to stories and then discover it's better to collect all the facts before jumping to conclusions.

I believe there are laws in this area that apply to federal judges, but Supreme Court justices are exempt.
