(325 posts)I too, have been feeling a little down these last few weeks and after today's events, I realized that this country has a serious decision to make.
With Joe stepping down from his re-election attempt, it puts many of the talented people we have in our party into a position of moving this country foreword. We have many good, talented people in Congress. We have Talented and Good Governors.
We have the VP Harris to take the rains... she has been there with Joe, from seeing what they both have accomplished in 3 years....is beyond amazing. Do I like how this went down... no! I am rather pissed about that, and that is something we can deal with after the election.
We all must step up and support whoever they nominate because the alternative is not an option.
I feel optimistic that the American public will not want what is being offered from the republicans and knowing that the Biden/Harris administration has a proven record of accomplishments and stable economy ( see the stock market all time highs) ... If Harris is the nominee, I will support her whole heartly.
I know many of us are scared and nervous but move past that fear and let's see the bigger picture.... It's imperative that we don't give up... I have no plans of doing that... Vote Blue, No Matter Who!
And Siwsan, we will be alright if we stick together....
