Of course you're right, MSNBC was atrocious when we really needed them. But since we can't change that now, let's note that this special is coming out not only when bastards like John McCain and Lindsey Graham are trying to rehabilitate the public's image of the Iraq war, but also when the same chickenhawk neocons are trying to build momentum for a new war in Iran.
I too wish MSNBC had kept Phil Donahue, that Chris Matthews had been a bit less credulous, and that they had spared us that embarrassing experiment of a show with Michael Wiener. But I'm grateful that as mainstream a media outlet as NBC News (for God's sake) has finally caught up with us... and may even do the country a great service, if they help prevent the next war of choice!
