(52,791 posts)35. Sister-in-law just moved down there from Brooklyn.
She and her husband are such native New Yorkers (and provincials to boot) that I just don't' know how they will adjust. They got a nice little house at the end of a quiet cul de sac and the Bro in law is antsy as all get out. He's used to stoop socializing, not getting in a car and going someplace where people are.
I was only there once with DH on a business trip. I was 7 months pregnant. We went to Disney World and some hot dog made me sick to my stomach. I had fun up until that point though.
MY parents had gone there for their honeymoon (Cypress Gardens) back in 1947. We have some beautiful pictures from that trip.
I want to go back again and visit the keys.

I haven't been there since 1958, but it always seemed too hot and sticky for me.
