It's not just wishful speculation. Read around.

HuffPo was screaming the "NSA Admits Listening to Phone Calls" lede on its front page, as they are wont to do. They disappeared it right quick.

Actually, they buried it down the page and made a little change to the headline:

CNET Story Alleging NSA Can Listen To U.S. Phone Calls Without Warrant Faces Skepticism:

Just a deluded agenda.. or as you say: wishful speculation RobertEarl Jun 2013 #6
The original claim is falling apart already, but stick with the conspiracy theory CakeGrrl Jun 2013 #8

Or no one will get to him. He can just realize that he made a mistake and fess up to it. n/t Tx4obama Jun 2013 #10
was there a recording of him actually saying that Whisp Jun 2013 #19
I don't know. All I know is that 'he' is the only one saying it and only in that CNET article. Tx4obama Jun 2013 #21
thanks. nt Whisp Jun 2013 #27
Who is that and what did he say? Is that the Subway sandwich guy? Bluenorthwest Jun 2013 #3

But the man's name is not Jarrod. It is Jerrold. Perhaps you misunderstood? Bluenorthwest Jun 2013 #12
The OP subject line said: 'Jerrod' with an 'e' not Jarrod. I left out the 'L'. I've fixed it. Tx4obama Jun 2013 #15
Yes, that would have been too civil. You've created a rather irksome OP tonight. CakeGrrl Jun 2013 #23
It was too easy for you to libel the wrong name and for others to do the same. Bluenorthwest Jun 2013 #24
I do not know the Subway guy or his name. I did not know I left the 'L' out of his name in the OP Tx4obama Jun 2013 #26

And if it's confirmed what Nadler said, will you admit you were wrong? neverforget Jun 2013 #13
Yes. If there is evidence that he was told that - I will. But so far he is the only source. n/t Tx4obama Jun 2013 #17
This story was shot down fast Life Long Dem Jun 2013 #28
that constitutes being "shot down"? MNBrewer Jun 2013 #29
Nadler isn't really the source. Something he said at a hearing is the source. BlueCheese Jun 2013 #31
If Nadler does walk back his statement, he will be promptly thrown under the bus by DU Cali_Democrat Jun 2013 #32
I don't think he will backtrack. hrmjustin Jun 2013 #34
