53. Isn't that Section 4 of the *Voting* Rights Act that was struck down? There are several threads

currently on DU about the Voting Rights Act and SCOTUS, but nothing about the Civil Rights Act.

IIRC, and bearing in mind I do not have a Master's Degree in History, they are two separate, different pieces of legislation.
