In reply to the discussion: I'M THE 14-YEAR-OLD WHO WROTE THE "JESUS ISN'T A DICK SO KEEP HIM OUT OF MY VAGINA" SIGN IN TEXAS AN [View all]NM_Birder
(1,591 posts)72. You may misunderstand my point.
I don't have an issue with her intended message, nor her desire to be involved in the debate. My objection is in the use of such shockingly vulgar language by a 14 year old girl.
I'll bet she likes the attention this gets her, and eventually she will have to be MORE shocking and vulgar the next time to stand out. That's not a lesson I appreciate nor encourage in kids. She is still a kid, assuming she is the prophecy child, just because she can be vulgar and her dad approves does not make sense to me. "And a child will lead them",...that's an actual post on this thread.
if this is admirable restraint in your opinion,....we simply have different lines of acceptable behavior for 14 year old girls.
"Medical Rape" ?..that is a slogan that has a point to the topic. However it's not shocking enough to compete with the 14 year old's "Jesus isn't a dick keep him out my vagina", approval crowd. Popular opinion says you need to up the wattage.

You know, it's kinda sad that a 14-year-old girl has more sense on this subject

I didn't alert on you, and I won't. And it's not about "conformity" - it's about what's really vital

I guess it depends on the parenting. I read the story in the link, and it didn't appear as though

I have no problem with "all topics on the table", I agree parenting should be that way.

Jesus may not be a dick, but a lot of people who do things in his name are dicks. n/t
