The person who wrote that sign might be from offshore. Or s/he might be borderline dyslexic. Maybe s/he was just having a bad day, was overtired and made a mistake. Dealing with entitled assholes like Ms/Mr Excel wears the best of us down.

A day's work should pay a day's living wage. Any business that can't afford to pay workers enough to live on should cease to exist. What the entitled few fail to realize is that people working in fast food joints aren't on a lark or just supplementing their trust fund income so they can vacation in Tahiti this year. They depend on that income to feed themselves and their children and that income is not adequate to do that.

I suppose to a certain type of person, keeping workers who feed, clothe, and otherwise maintain his/her ability to be a selfish and ignorant yuppie should be kept in poverty so they know their places. A cast of thousands supports each yuppie moron and it's high time they realize that.

The rolling strikes are starting to get people's attention. When it spreads to retail and other minimum wage jobs, maybe people will start to realize just how many adults are being paid suburban teenager wages.

Nothing will get through to Mr./Ms. Excel except a run of unemployment and real poverty, a minimum wage, part time job taken to eke out the unemployment check. The way the economy is, that day of reckoning will come soon and they'll be amazed at how common their skill set is and how utterly useless it is in purely practical terms.
