I will never understand people who keep their dogs outside. Dogs are FAMILY as far as I am concerned. We adopted a dog that had been chained outside for 2 years. Sweetest Rottwiler/Shepherd mix ever. He was a happy guy. Took a while for our female to accept him, but it eventually happened, and they slept together fianlly. Glad we made 7 years happy for him. He developed bone cancer, and had to be put to sleep. Sad, sad day. Great dog, the original owners had no idea what they gave away.
