52. I am not a Christian

I am Buddhist. I feel so blessed that I live in an area where I don't have to be exposed to that kind of outward hatred. But I do get it on line, on the internet. I have been sent messages like "Take your Cooley raghead ideas and go back to China." Talk about ignorance. Nasty messages from stupid people who know nothing about what Buddhism is,.. just they think is some kind of Satanic cult, because don't you know, when it comes to religion, its either black or white.. and being Asian in this country makes it a bit worse. People asking me if I have eaten my pets yet...and other mean spirited ideas. I try to stay away from places like Discussionist or websites that cater to and allow bigotry to flourish.
