don't read very much about the policies, or about what's actually going on. Most of them either don't care, or don't have the time to educate themselves. Don't just shoot them down - if it's at all possible, we need to educate. Tell people WHY they should vote for the democratic nominee over Trump, should it come to that.

The current divide here and all the crap flinging - which I have recently engaged in myself, is one thing... but I'm going to support the democratic nominee, regardless of who it is and who my personal preference is. We cannot afford a President Trump, a President Cruz, or a President Rubio. I agree with Carter that Cruz would be far, far worse than Trump. Trump is still extremely bad, so I'm not even sure there's a word for how bad Cruz would be. "Scary" doesn't come close.
