Changing your mind is different from genuine lying. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but YMMV. Proving genuine lying means that you have to PROVE that the person knew the truth and deliberately made a dishonest and inaccurate statement. I have no doubt in my mind that once he got into office, the PTB and the Pentagon and CIA "sat him down" and told him what's what. That's my theory and yes, I cannot prove it.
