Brian Williams is the liar.

She is contrasting them with the fact that she holds a PhD in political science, is hold up in the same hotels as them, and yet is not called out to speak or give opinion.

I honestly think she echoes a lot of feelings from within NBC and MSNBC regarding both of them. I know there is a lot of antagonism against Luke, as a lot of people think he got his job only because of his father. (He did.) I am sure she is speaking for a lot of people by indirectly naming them.
