Some places do have cash registers that print everything out for you. I know this because my blind friend has them do it. I know for sure that Sears does it. But being with my blind friend I understand the check thing. When you are blind people actually run away and fight over who has to help the blind person or they try to talk to me. I have learned when I go places with her to turn around and ignore them or walk away so they will talk to her. She is a very capable person and raise 3 children on her own ( husband died ) and she is smarter than most people.

My brother is in a nursing home on medicaid/medicare. We can't care for him at home anymore.

If they block grant Medicaid or repeal its expansion, a LOT of nursing homes will close their doors.
