is people drawing invalid conclusions based on assumptions and distant observations. If that becomes acceptable in this case, why not others? Why shouldn't your employer be able to fire someone based on distant observations without direct evidence?
An I know you are but what am I campaign accusing 45 of having mental illness normalized his ridicule of the disabled reporter. Trading in stereotypes, stigma, and fear- all part of the same ableism that is encouraged here.
