Threats of violence and even rape against men are not uncommon at all.
The thing about the internet you can always find someone that disagrees and often find people that disagree violently.
My problem with these sorts of posts is that it seems to set women up to be victims. The vast majority of the violence directed at anyone on the net is done by folks that would not have the courage to even voice their opinions in person forget about actually carry out their threats.
Making their rambling powerful is giving trolls way too much credit.
You can look at any famous person Twitter or Facebook or whatever male or female and find folks who lash out at them. Try Sean Hanity's Twitter some time. It is filled with folks calling for hi. To be beaten or worse.
The internet can be very ugly for anyone women and men.
The whole be a victim thing bugs me.
