Tell him that you respect all the bedrock American values and that the reason tRump has 3 shaky marriages is that he respects none of them and is always about himself. Keep it that short.

With delusional types you need to restrict responses to very short sharp penetrating statements that don't attack the deluded person but shine a light one at a time on a contradiction between their beliefs and obvious reality. You have to crack their steel bubble and then they start to become aware of the light. Be satisfied with a stunned thoughtful expression on their face and let it go each time. Their bubble took time to build and solidify so it takes time for it to crumble.
