on the part of the Republicans. Tweeden has some obvious credibility issues and if she were, in any way, a part of a setup then the ultimate goal wouldn't simply be to take out Franken, but to ultimately discredit the #metoo movement altogether. They would have no qualms about selling her out. I think they would prefer that we take the lead in pointing out the obvious holes in her account, but if it doesn't happen on their schedule they'll take the lead. So it should give you pause when the likes of Newt Gingrich and Ari Fleischer suddenly come to Franken's defense.
