60. Nothing wrong with a potluck reception
Wed Apr 1, 2015, 02:08 PM
Apr 2015

If I had a wedding in which a potluck reception was being held, I would not appreciate it if a guest showed up with a pizza. It would indicate that he put very little effort or thought into it. Of course, there may be an exception to that, such as someone in the wedding party absolutely loved pizzas and would eat it for every meal if he could. IMHO, pizzas are fine for frat parties but not a wedding.

I still can't believe how you can twist a remark about pizzas being a faux pas for a wedding and imply that the remark is prejudiced and bigoted.

I think I'll phone in an order before the auction. TheCowsCameHome Apr 2015 #1
