Protective tariffs for his family business. Thinks timber industry in Canada has too much local government ownership and can undercut American competition.
Koch Bros. are also in the Timber industry.(Georgia-Pacific Corp). They also want help on the trade front.
Economics makes strange bedfellows.
I think it might be great to switch to Canadian system.

I don't know that that's relevant to me. I make up my own mind. Bernie wasn't even on the ballot.

I would assume the latter, he voted for him when he was on the ballot (i.e. the primary.)
