much more important matters. I just love the timing and content. Not to mention that the Guardian appears to have been Dan Rathered.

Edit: I read the politico story and while it reads like journalism I just don't see it being quite what they claim it is. There are a lot of assertions about different actions taken by Hunter and Hallie, along with the owners of the grocery and gun-store. I don't see references to interviews or other statements of attribution that I would expect in such a situation.
It could have gone down as described or in a form like it, I suppose. It's just that the timing of the article's release seems rather related to the current debate on gun control. If I read it correctly this whole thing happened in 2018 and was completed in that time.
So why do the Guardian and Politico publish it now as if it was last week? Where are the independent witnesses with cell phones blazing video, and blog posts asserting they were there? Compare this coverage or any coverage of any part to how "pizza gate" was covered.
