And if the vast majority of Americans, Democrats and Republicans, across the country support spending on our country and not allowing us to lose the race globally, then he's going to do that," Granholm said on CNN's "State of the Union."
That's precisely the proper message. All of these proposals, and even gun control and SB1, have enormous support by both democratic and republican voters. It's the republicans in congress that are out of step not just with the country at large but even with their own republican constituents whom they purportedly represent.
Egads, now they're even winding up the culture war wurlitzer for, of all things, baseball and coca cola! What kind of strategy is this? "Vote for me! I crushed coca cola! I crushed baseball!! I crushed ther well-paying job you would have had!!111!! I even crushed your right to vote!!!1111!!!"
