school here. I still have them actually.
I had to have my shot records to live in the college dorm. Of course in 1966 there were far fewer vaccinations: smallpox, diphtheria/Pertussis/Tetanus, polio. Our Pediatrician gave us typhoid shots every 2 years because we had a well out in the country and you just never know what is going to fall in a sinkhole upstream somewhere.
I went to Germany and I had to show that shot record; I needed one more round - typhus (made me sicker than any other shot I ever had)
I had my last typhoid when I was a senior in high school.
I see no problem with having a card showing I had the shot just in case I need to show it.
