33. I've done the same as you. I just found out there are 3 local chapters of Indivisible near me.

Went to their websites. All 3 have basically nothing posted since March. We need to be organized and united. I just don't see that happening.

We're all commiserating and pledging our resistance here and on other social media, and it's good to know we're not alone in seeing the madness, that isn't stopping Trump. Every tiny victory we've had has been steamrolled over (see EO killing the Obamacare we worked to save) and there are countless horrific things being done in all departments of our government that most don't even know about.

And then you think of the average American who would also be pretty horrified if they understood all that the Trump admin is doing, but most people do not have the time or energy to keep up with even the most well-publicized stuff. Unless there is a massive, well-funded effort to sound the alarm so no sane citizen can ignore it, this nation is going to fall irretrievably to this fascist regime.

I don't know if it was this thread or another where someone expressed similar feelings of hopelessness, and some accused them of being a RW troll. Holy fuck, I am one of the most liberal people I know and have been forever. I'm not looking to lower morale, I'm saying, it's not looking good. We are not winning. With all the disenfranchisement and election tampering, even if we get huge numbers of Dems to vote GOTV, we easily may lose again in 2018.

If anyone can point me to some indication that I'm wrong, I'd be very happy to know about it.
