It can't be that difficult. I'll help them:
She would break the ultimate glass ceiling!
She has more experience at high level positions ie..State Department
She has a tougher position on gun manufacturers
She has a great partner who's been there before and we'd get two for one
She's been assailed mercilessly for years and deserves to show them all what's what!
okay I threw that last one in.
There are some legitimate reasons.
Its just that there is nothing in her platform that excites a Bernie supporter. Bernie's talking about some very real fundamental changes in the Democratic Party and also push hard for other social benefits for the whole country that are already passe in most countries. Work on election finance reform. Appointing a justice so that Citizens United can be defeated. I'm not positive Hillary is a huge foe of Citizens United.
And no, Bernie Sanders as President would probably not fulfill all his campaign suggestions. but he may a few of them. And he would open the conversation on the other issues he has raised. He would not be as shy of the bully pulpit as his predecessor seemed to be. In short he would move the country forward progressively into the future in a noticeable way.
Hillary Clinton would represent the status quo. And maybe even more hawkish than Obama. Her ties to the corporate elites financially is troubling. But yes, she definitely does have some positives.
