Those who've checked out some of the other Canadian videos will see the long battle a farmer fought against corporate thuggery. They are a very powerful entity that is perverting the democratic process and destroying communities. Philosophically, as Shiva explains, they are stealing what should never have been for sale, by patenting life itself.
