(4,606 posts)that had obviously last been decorated when it was built. They must have spent a pretty penny on professional interior decorating and it was still in pristine shape. Oh my goodness. I've never seen shag wall to wall carpet so lush. It was so deep, I don't know how the hell they vacuumed. It was amazing. The house was a showplace of harvest gold and burnt orange appliances, mirrored wallpaper, and crazy colors. It was that contemporary cabin style, so of course it had a spiral staircase and a catwalk. Yaaasss.
Alas, we decided to pass on it. Structurally, it was in great shape, and the price was low enough to leave plenty of room for updating, but there were issues with the well and septic. I was so bummed out. I totally would have kept that mirrored wallpaper up, lol!
