I was febrile, achy, and had a terrible headache for three days. I missed four days of work. No regrets, though; I'd do it again. I tell ya, popsicles, and very cold Powerade tasted so good. Also, Benadryl helped me sleep through it.

My oldest son had his second yesterday and then went to work at the hospital today for a 12-hour shift. He just texted me that he felt terrible. I told him last night to call-in but he didn't listen to his mother, of course.

Get rest!
