4. William Shakespeare's Thought For The Day.

It's a weekly feature I post in the Lounge every Saturday morning. I choose a photo of some kind relating to some aspect of current events, and then add a quote from one of William Shakespeare's plays, narrative poems, or sonnets that is in some way an appropriate comment on the subject of the photo. I started it back in 2006, and until 2009 or so, it was a daily feature. It was extremely labor-intensive to research a quote and find an appropriate subject every weekday, so after a sabbatical, I made it a weekly feature.

The very first WSTFTD was a photo of the U.S. Capitol building with Mercutio's line "A plague o' both your houses!" from Romeo And Juliet.

I've had a lot of fun with it, and past editions are in my journal if you want to look at them.

I was unable to post an edition last weekend. I was too broken up by the loss of those children...
